Our Curriculum

At St. Hubert’s, we believe that every child deserves a nurturing environment to grow, learn, and explore.
Our curriculum is carefully planned around the interests and curiosities of the children, with weekly topics that inspire engagement, exploration and a love of learning. By following the children's interests, we create meaningful learning experiences that are relevant, enjoyable and motivating.

Here at St. Hubert's, the children have the opportunity to learn and explore through a wide range of activities and resources, including topic stories, creative play, outdoor learning, social experiences and problem solving. We support every aspect of each child's growth and development. Our approach encourages children to become confident, independent learners while developing the skills and knowledge they need to thrive.

Some of the topics that we have done recently include:
- Healthy Bodies, learning about healthy eating, exercise and healthy teeth.
- Planting and Growing, learning about life cycles and growing our own plants!
- The Jungle, making pasta snakes and enjoying our jungle explorer roleplay area.
- Fairy Tales, baking our own gingerbread men and creating a fairy tale castle.
- Transport, junk modelling and a fantastic airport roleplay area.
- Minibeasts, finding bugs in our garden and reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
